Lakota preschool families will receive a bi-monthly e-newsletter from the administrative staff. It contains important information and announcements about current events and upcoming activities.
We use Lakota's communication portal to send this communication. All parents and guardians will automatically receive this communication at the primary email address attached to your Home Access Center account.
Seesaw is an online platform used in grades PreK-2 at Lakota to help keep students, teachers and parents connected and engaged in the learning process. Your child’s classroom team and the administrative staff will also use Seesaw as a means of communication between home and school. Classroom newsletters, direct staff-to-parent communication and reminders/notifications will be sent through this application.
Feel free to follow our social media sites! Here we will post photos of what's currently going on in school, updates and important dates.
At Lakota, transparent and timely communication is critically important. Using a mass notification system, we deliver important school and district news and announcements primarily via email, but oftentimes by phone and text message as well.
Please reference the detailed sections below to ensure you are receiving school-to-home Lakota communications that are relevant to you as a parent/guardian, staff member or community member.
All parent/guardian contact information submitted through FinalForms at the beginning of each school year and then displayed in your Home Access Center account is our primary source of email addresses and phone numbers used to communicate school and district news. Please note below the alternative method being used to update staff phone numbers.
The parent portal powered by School Messenger is no longer used to update parent/guardian contact information.
