A Note from the Director

A Note from the Director

Dear Preschool Parents and Guardians,

As you mostly likely read in Dr. Lolli's email, the district's bus transportation services, including special transportation for our preschoolers has been re-instated. Preschool arrival and dismissal procedures will revert to normal operations on Monday.

I have many thanks to share after a somewhat challenging week.

To all of our preschool families, I cannot thank you enough for your patience, kindness and grace during the bus strike. I appreciate how difficult it was for many of you. I don't think I have ever witnessed a more patient group of families during our arrivals and dismissals. Your smiles and waves meant so much. To all of you who went out of your way to thank and appreciate our preschool staff, I applaud you also. Sometimes, a simple thank you can go a long way.

To the preschool staff, thank you for going above and beyond while also maintaining your normal routines. Your willingness to chip in wherever needed is to be applauded.

To our preschool students, what a great job you did! Transitions and changes in routines can often bring our preschoolers angst. I was so impressed with your children's resilience during this time.

To those unable to attend school this week due to the difficulties the strike brought on, we are excited to welcome your students back this coming week! We will support your student's transition back in any way we can.

The good news is that we will be back up and running our normal schedules and routines starting Monday!

On another positive note, we have scheduled our first Family Fun Day! We are inviting families to come together for a day on the farm at Barn-n-Bunk Farm Market! More details found here.

Thank you again for your positivity this week!

Have a well deserved, relaxing weekend!

Diane
